When I think of hair loss, I think of someone with grey hair in their 60’s or someone who suffers from cancer. I never thought that me, a women in her early 40’s, which lives a healthy lifestyle would begin to lose hair at a rapid paist.

I know it did not happen overnight but it feels like it did. I remember waking up and looking into the mirror realizing that there was no denying how different I look due to my hair. I guess I first noticed my hair was falling out about a year ago. I would see lots of hair strands on my pillow, hair brush, etc. My friends would tell me it’s because I have long hair so it’s more noticeable to see whereas if you have short hair it is not as visible.
